HAC MEMBERS SAY...
It has been a great journey of learning since February 2015, participating in the Liturgical celebrations of the Archdiocese and Telangana State Christmas celebrations. The best part is being part of the HAC family. It has enriched me. These days we keep travelling to foreign countries more often and when we participate in a holy Mass there and when we join in singing with others the ‘Pater Noster’ or ‘Gloria’ we understand the characteristic of the Sacred Music the ‘Universality’. This is the beauty of the Gregorian chant and HAC gives me the chance to learn this.
Seema Victor- Sopranos
Being with HAC has not just increased my knowledge of Sacred Music but has also taught me a lot about the teachings, traditions, and practices of our Catholic Church on Sacred Music and its ministry. “Sacred Music possesses Holiness and Beauty; along with these two qualities the third one spontaneously arises… that is Universality” – Pope St Pius X. “Celebrating Liturgy involves the whole person with all his/her faculties; Intellect and will, Emotions and senses, Imagination, Memory, Aesthetic sensibilities, Physical gestures, and Powers of expression”. The voice training we go through has made me much more confident with my skills and capabilities. The entire experience in HAC has been a very wholesome one.
Michelle Michael- Altos
Though I had been singing in the choir from 5th class, after joining the HAC I understand the meaning of what Cardinal Ratzinger said about Sacred Music… “The wedding of Spirit with Senses is Sacred Music.” The tradition of Sacred Music is the sign of Universal Liturgical worship. You participate in a liturgical Service anywhere in the world, The character of the Sacred Music remains the same. There is so much to learn about the Sacred Traditions, Practices and Teachings of our Church Music on Sacred Music. I am indebted to HAC for all these.
Anthony Peria- Bass
HAC has given me an opportunity to learn sacred music and glorify the name of the mighty lord; it has also given me a platform to share my talents with the people of God. It has inculcated habits in me like responsibility, time management, teamwork, and listening skills.

It's a wonderful experience to sing for the GLORY OF GOD and educate myself in SACRED MUSIC being in HAC which helps me tune to heaven. “Religious music when integrated with Liturgical service becomes Sacred Music”– VAT II, SC 112

Playing my violin with HAC has been an experience of extensive learning and one is always encouraged by the group's passion for perfection. I realize here that Choir is an Army and it needs lots of discipline and I appreciate the Director for this.
Emmanuel Theetla- Violonist
I am so glad that l joined HAC lt has enriched me about Sacred Music and there was always something new to learn during every training program. I realized that it is wrong to say I am part of my parish choir but it should be ‘I am part of the Parish Sacred Music Ministry.’
Mary Agnes- Sopranos
I came to know about sacred music in depth. HAC is not a Choir. There is so much to learn about the Sacred Music Ministry.
Gladdys- Sopranos

HAC made a huge difference
in several parishes in terms of chanting the Responsorial Psalm
, singing in line with the liturgy of the day, and following the right sacred music guidelines. On a personal level, HAC has helped me understand music better and has taught me so much about the Catholic Church and Sacred Music. It has helped us all grow as a community, and in turn, make a difference in our own parishes.
Anisha Cross- Altos
I love being a part of HAC as it always teaching me to learn something new about Music and especially the importance of Sacred Music and its Ministry. I appreciate our Director’s way of teaching every difficult melody as a joy ride of learning. He provides Sacred Knowledge to our Singing Ministry. The favorite part is that we all come together in Christ as A Musical Family!

“Sacred Music moves our hearts and souls. If singing of a Hymn or a Song moves our body it is secular music but if it moves our soul it is a Sacred Music or Divine Music.” – Pope Benedict XVI
HAC has given me a revered insight on sacred music and countless learning to cherish. Also, it's a wonderful connection of people from different parishes, who join together to sing as one.
Anna Patricia- Tenors

I always love to praise God through my singing. Joining HAC was the best decision I could make with the Good Heart and Will. Being with HAC I gained self-confidence and it taught me to sing well. Our Director gives special attention to those who need to gain more confidence and sing better. Together with others I enjoy and benefit from the Special trainings on Voice delivery.
Sophia Susan- Sopranos
I have one year of experience in HAC, where I have learnt so many things. Singing is becoming easier than before because during every training I learn about the technique of singing; knowing what is Sound, how to breath, how to pronounce the vowels, how to listen and the alphabet of music and how to sing those. HAC is now a second family to me.
Demis Eric- Bass
The breathing exercises, warming
of sessions before singing, singing
the Vowels, and practicing the Solfeggio are some of the things which I like the best in every training session. In fact,it is HAC which gives me confidence in singing. During training,we get to know new concepts of the Church and her traditions and practices on Liturgical singing.
Florentina Peria- Altos
It’s been a great experience. I am learning a lot about music, especially about the Sacred Music, what to sing and what not to sing during the Liturgy. I am happy to pass on all these learning to my Choir members in my Parish.
Clement Francis- Bass
HAC gave me an opportunity to enhance my hobby and I feel HAC is a special platform to Glorify the Lord almighty together with many singers from different parishes of our Archdiocese. I thank Jesus for choosing me to be a member of HAC.
Celine Francis- Sopranos
Feels great to be surrounded by people who are very dedicated and passionate about music and the services they render to HAC. It's a great learning platform for people who would like to know more about music be it with vocals and instruments.
Shravya- Sopranos
For the last few years, had been hearing the HAC sing at many major Catholic events. Being a catholic I thought it would be nice to sing with this choir especially being trained by Mr.Michael Peria. Many years back when I was a parishioner of St Anthony's Church Mudfort, Mr.Peria, was our Choir conductor and I know his caliber, last year when I was asked if I wanted to sing for HAC (which has Catholics from all over the twin cities)
I just grabbed the opportunity as I wanted to be a part of this group.
Lelani- Sopranos
HAC is not just a choir; it's a spiritual family of singers.I got to learn about the church, sacred music, choir leadership, rubrics, psalms chanting and so much more. “Sacred Music is Noble, Unique & Irreplaceable and it possesses Goodness, Virtue, Peace… therefore, its Holy and Divine” – Pope JP II. Most importantly, I got to make so many friends with common interests in church and music. It's important to give your best in everything you do.. Cause God put you in that position to get it done.
Divya Prathima- Sopranos
Being a part of HAC made me experience something you would not normally learn in any regular choir/class/institute. I learn a lot about the Catholic Church and her Sacred Music. Among all the different things we were taught about improving our vocal skills, these stood out for me- voice
development exercises, choral singing, singing in harmony, singing in polyphonic, pitch, and sight-reading- Solfeggio, key signature, and time signature. I have seen a significant improvement in the way I sing; I am more confident and aware.
Melinda Michael- Altos
The thing about singing in a choir is coming together as a whole to sing in harmony. Joining HAC was one of the best decisions I have ever taken. I've learnt a lot about sacred music and it's importance in our lifes. It has been a good experience for me as a beginner and I'm looking forward to learn more about music.
Malaika- Tenors
I feel privileged to be a part of such a beautiful choir. In this short while I've learnt that HAC is not just a choir but it's a family and I've learnt a lot. I'm looking forward to learning more about sacred music and continue to be a part of this beautiful HAC family.
